Deion Sanders Has to Make Hard Decisions: Colorado Team Fires Two Players

Report: Colorado team’s second player is ejected by Deion Sanders

Deion Sanders is focused on building the best possible roster for Colorado in 2024 as he gets ready for his second season as head coach.

Sanders decided to cut one member from the squad over the weekend, and it looks like he has also decided to rule out another player.

Tar’Varish Dawson, a wide receiver, disclosed that he was let off by the squad for private reasons.

After departing Colorado, Dawson, a formerly highly regarded four-star prospect, now has to find a new team.

Following his enrollment in the Sanders program in 2023, Dawson took part in a major restructuring of the roster.

Dawson told Buffs Beat that he was disappointed and said, “It is unfortunate that I will no longer be with my teammates in Colorado.” I am eager to investigate other prospects and make contributions elsewhere, though. I am thrilled to get this chance.” I am thankful for the opportunity that Coach Prime and his team have provided me with in Boulder. I am excited, excited, and grateful. It means something extraordinary to come from Fort Myers the way he did. My attention is currently on my work, and I’ll be “entering the transfer portal” this spring. I am.”

Last season, Dawson made seven appearances for Colorado, starting four of them games against Colorado State when Travis Hunter was hurt.

Dawson’s fate with the organization was questioned when he was noticeably absent from Colorado’s spring roster that was revealed last week.

With multiple arrivals via the transfer site, Buffalo has strengthened its receiving corps, which might limit Dawson’s playing time.

Dawson and the crew are now concentrating on their next course of action. On April 27, fans who can’t wait to see Colorado’s 2024 roster in action can watch the spring game.
